A practical online workshop on applying sustainable remediation principles to contaminated site decision-making. Participants will work through a hypothetical case study using Ramboll's SURE tool to assess and compare remedial options, scoring sustainability indicators and reviewing combined results.
What to expect
A short introduction to sustainable remediation and its practical application. An overview of sustainable remediation assessment tools, including the SURE tool. Introduction to the hypothetical site and remedial options to be assessed. A facilitated workshop using a shared workbook to score selected sustainability indicators. Live review of the combined results in the SURE tool. Discussion of indicator selection, scoring and weighting, and how these can influence outcomes. An opportunity for questions and answers.
