Sustainathon 2026 is a global virtual marathon dedicated to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), bringing together speakers from across the world in a continuous online format spanning multiple time zones. Participants will share inspiring insights, successful initiatives, and innovative approaches highlighting progress towards the 17 SDGs, with sessions featuring government representatives, public authorities, researchers, and leading experts offering an international perspective.
Event Schedule
Thursday 24 September 2026 from 14.00 to 24.00 (CEST) – 10pm to 8am (AEST). Friday 25 September 2026 from 07.00 to 14.00 (CEST) – 3pm to 10pm (AEST).
Format
Sessions will include short, focused presentations followed by interactive Q&A. Moderators from prominent national and international organisations will guide discussions, introduce speakers, and engage with the audience. A dynamic 'relay' format reflects the global nature of the initiative.
