About this session
The inaugural QLS Specialist Practice Conference takes place 7–9 October 2026, bringing together six specialist conferences under one program. It delivers specialist content across twelve practice areas including Elder Law, Succession Law, Workplace Relations and Employment Law, Personal Injury Law, Property Law, Commercial Law, Commercial Litigation, Government Law, Family Law, Domestic and Family Violence, Criminal Law, and Migration Law. The program features current and former judges, barristers, specialist solicitors, investigators and firm partners sharing practical insights.
Conference Structure
Three days of specialist learning structured by practice area. Day One (7 Oct): Elder Law, Succession Law, Workplace Relations and Employment Law, Personal Injury Law. Day Two (8 Oct): Property Law, Commercial Law, Commercial Litigation, Government Law. Day Three (9 Oct): Family Law, Domestic and Family Violence, Criminal Law, Migration Law.
Additional Activities
Migration Law Breakfast on Friday, Networking Function, Family Law Drafting Workshop, and Specialist Accreditation Dinner.
