The 2026 AAC Regional Conference in Tamworth features pre-conference site training on waterproofing and plumbing on 23 September, followed by a full-day main conference on 24 September covering topics including waterproofing, swimming pools, compliance, fire safety upgrades, and plumbing regulations updates. The event includes presentations from industry experts and AAC leadership.
Pre-Conference Site Training
Wednesday, 23 September 2026, 2:00pm-4:00pm. Two separate groups with site swap. Site 1: 2:00pm-3:00pm; Site 2: 3:00pm-4:00pm. Maximum 20 participants per group. PPE required (boots/non-slip shoes, hi-vis vest, hard hat). Hosted by Kellie Woods and Stan Giaouris. Followed by welcome drinks at The Tudor Hotel Tamworth 5:00pm-6:30pm.
Main Conference Schedule
Thursday, 24 September 2026. Registration 8:30am. Sessions: Welcome (9:00am-9:10am), Waterproofing (9:10am-10:10am), AAC Updates (10:10am-10:30am), Morning Tea (10:30am-11:00am), Backyard Swimming Pools (11:00am-12:00pm), Compliance (12:00pm-12:30pm), Lunch (12:30pm-1:30pm), Planning Outcomes (1:30pm-2:00pm), Fire Safety Upgrades (2:00pm-2:45pm), Plumbing Regulations (2:45pm-3:15pm), Tools Training + Afternoon Tea (3:15pm-4:15pm), Open Forum (4:15pm-4:45pm), Closing (4:45pm-5:00pm).
Registration Fees
AAC Members: $420.00 (incl GST); AAC Students: $370.00 (incl GST); Non-Members: $470.00 (incl GST). Pre-conference site training is complimentary (limited spots). Registration and invoice payment required to attend pre-conference training.
