The OTA Sexual Wellbeing Interest Group presents a session on Sexual Wellbeing and Mental Health. Dr Claire Lynch will present on mixed-methods research focused on how occupational therapists have provided or should provide support for sexual wellbeing with people with mental health conditions.
Overview
The OTA Sexual Wellbeing Interest Group welcomes all occupational therapists interested in sexuality. The group explores sexuality as a broad concept encompassing sexual activity, pleasure, intimacy, reproduction, gender identity, sexual orientation, and more, grounded in the WHO (2006) definition.
