This workshop introduces the IIA's new Third-Party Topical Requirement under the Global Internal Audit Standards, effective from 15 September 2026. Participants will learn about third-party governance, risk management, controls, lifecycle management, monitoring, escalation, and offboarding, with practical guidance on implementation for internal audit engagements.
Session Objectives
Understand Topical Requirements and their role alongside Global Internal Audit Standards. Recognise when the Third-Party Topical Requirement applies. Identify key areas including governance, risk management, controls, lifecycle management, monitoring, escalation, and offboarding. Prepare for third-party risk engagements commencing after 15 September 2026.
Who Should Attend
Internal auditors, assurance leaders, risk professionals, audit committee members, and others involved in planning, delivering, or overseeing assurance over third-party relationships.

IIA NZ Members: FREE. This is a closed IIA NZ member's event. Minimum attendance of 10 people applies, maximum of 100 online. Registrations close on 23 September 2026.
